Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort
We have a room block secured at Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, which is where all of the wedding events will take place.
If you've been in contact with Kate, our wedding planner, about booking a room at Kona Village, she'll be in touch in the next few days to officially book your room. If you have not been in contact with her and would like to book at room at Kona Village, please email her at Kate@sunshowerweddings.com to get the process started!
Alternative Lodging Options
For any guests who would like to stay off-site, we will have a shuttle for our main events, to and from the Waikoloa Resort area. The best lodging options in that area are Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort, Hilton Kingsland (these are condos with kitchens and multiple bedrooms), and Marriot Waikoloa Resort.
FLY INTO
KONA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
KOA is about a 20 minute drive from Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort.
RENTAL CARS
All major car rental services are available at the Kona International Airport, including Turo and SIXT. Each car rental company has a shuttle that will pick up customers from the airport and transport them over to the Kona car rental counters.
If staying at the resort, a rental car is not necessary, as all of the events will be held on property. If staying in the Waikoloa resort area, we will have shuttles to and from all wedding events. However, if you plan to go out and explore the island, then a rental car is essential!
